The Prophet ﷺ said to Maez bin Malik, "Is what has reached me about you true?"Maez asked, "What has reached you about me?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "It has reached me that you had relations with the slave-girl of the family of so-and-so."He said, "Yes."He then testified four times, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered that he be stoned, and he was stoned.

أن النبي ﷺ قال لماعز بن مالك أحق ما بلغني عنك قال وما بلغك عني قال بلغني أنك وقعت على جارية آل فلان قال نعم فشهد أربع شهادات فأمر به فرجم
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Legal Punishments, chapter "One Who Confesses Fornication Against Himself," hadith 19/1693, from Qutayba through the same route.On this subject, there is also a narration from Saaib bin Yazid [Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 7/157, hadith 6684].
