The Prophet ﷺ paid the blood-money for the two men of Amir at the same rate as the blood-money of Muslims, since they had a covenant of protection from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

[Its chain of transmission is daif]. Bayhaqi (8/102) also reported it from the hadith of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash with a similar meaning, and he said, "Al-Baqqal cannot be relied upon. Abu Saad al-Baqqal is daif and a mudallis, and Abu Bakr bin Ayyash is daif with respect to his memory."
