The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that the blood-money for accidental killing consists of twenty bint makhad, twenty male bani makhad, twenty bint labun, twenty jadhaah, and twenty hiqqah.
حدثنا علي بن سعيد الكندي الكوفي أخبرنا ابن أبي زائدة عن الحجاج عن زيد بن جبير عن خشف بن مالك قال سمعت
قضى رسول الله ﷺ في دية الخطإ عشرين بنت مخاض وعشرين بني مخاض ذكورا وعشرين بنت لبون وعشرين جذعة وعشرين حقة
Sourcing, [its isnad is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Diyat, chapter on the guardian of the victim of intentional killing accepting the blood money, no. 4506, and Ibn Majah, no. 2626, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Rashid, with the same wording.
