I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever buys a palm tree after it has been pollinated, its fruit belongs to the seller unless the buyer stipulates otherwise. And whoever buys a slave who possesses wealth, his wealth belongs to the seller unless the buyer stipulates otherwise."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن ابن شهاب
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من ابتاع نخلا بعد أن تؤبر فثمرتها للذي باعها إلا أن يشترط المبتاع ومن ابتاع عبدا وله مال فماله للذي باعه إلا أن يشترط المبتاع
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sales, chapter on one who sells palm trees with fruit still on them, hadith no. 1543/80, from Qutayba, and Bukhari narrated it, hadith no. 2379, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, with similar wording.There is also a report on this topic from Jabir, the note refers to the hadith of Muslim, no. 1536, and there are other hadiths on this topic as well.
