[Sahih]. Nasai narrated it in Kubra, no. 6219, from Qutayba, and Bukhari, no. 2143, and Muslim, no. 1514, from the hadith of Nafi through the same chain. On this topic there are also narrations from Abdullah bin Abbas [Nasai, no. 4626] and Abu Saeed Khudri [coming in brief form, no. 1563, and Ibn Majah, no. 96].
