A man performed lian against his wife, and the Prophet ﷺ separated them and assigned the child to the mother.
حدثنا قتيبة أنبأنا مالك بن أنس عن نافع
لاعن رجل امرأته وفرق النبي ﷺ بينهما وألحق الولد بالأم
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on Divorce, section on the child being attributed to the woman who makes an accusation of lian, hadith no. 5315, and Muslim, hadith no. 8/1494, section on Lian, from the hadith of Malik through this route, and it is also found in Muwatta 2/597.
