Sabia gave birth twenty-three or twenty-five days after her husband's death. Once she had recovered, she showed interest in remarrying, but this was disapproved of. The matter was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "If she does so, her waiting period has ended."Ahmad bin Mani narrated to us, Hasan bin Musa narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us from Mansur, a similar report.
[Hasan]. Ibn Majah also related it in the Book of Divorce, chapter on the pregnant woman whose husband dies, becoming lawful for marriage once she gives birth, no. 2027, and Nasai, no. 3538, from the hadith of Mansur, with the same chain, and Ibn Hibban declared it sahih (al-Ihsan), no. 4285. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Nasai, no. 3540, and elsewhere. There is also a narration on this subject from Umm Salama [to come at 1194].
