[Sahih]. Ibn Adi also narrated it in al-Kamil, 3/986, from the hadith of Abu Kurayb through this same route, and its chain is daif, but it has corroborating narrations in Nasai, 6/168, no. 3491, and elsewhere, and with these the hadith becomes sahih.
