Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman must not travel a distance of a day and a night unless she is accompanied by a Muharram relative."

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Shortening the Prayer, Chapter: How Much Distance Requires Shortening the Prayer, hadith no. 1088, and Muslim, hadith no. 1339/421, from the hadith of Malik, from the hadith of Saeed Maqburi through him.
