Why have you ruined our garment? It would have been enough to rub it off with your fingers. I myself often rubbed it off the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my fingers.
حدثنا هناد حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن همام بن الحارث قال ضاف عائشة ضيف فأمرت له بملحفة صفراء فنام فيها فاحتلم فاستحيا أن يرسل بها وبها أثر الاحتلام فغمسها في الماء ثم أرسل بها
لم أفسد علينا ثوبنا إنما كان يكفيه أن يفركه بأصابعه وربما فركته من ثوب رسول الله ﷺ بأصابعي
[Sahih]. Abu Dawud also narrated it in the Book of Purification, chapter on semen getting on a garment, no. 371, from the hadith of Ibrahim Nakhai with the same wording, and its basis is in Sahih Muslim, no. 107/288b, and Tahawi added at 1/051, "then he prays in it."
