The practice of withdrawal was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "Why would any of you do that?"
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر وقتيبة قالا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد عن قزعة
ذكر العزل عند رسول الله ﷺ فقال لم يفعل ذلك أحدكم
Muslim also reported it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter on the Ruling on Withdrawal (coitus interruptus), hadith no. 132/1438, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with the same wording. Bukhari also narrated it, hadith no. 5210, from the hadith of Abu Saeed Khudri with the same wording.There is also a report on this subject from Jabir [Muslim, hadith no. 1439].
