The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any woman whom two guardians have given in marriage belongs to the first of them, and whoever sells the same item to two men, it belongs to the first of them."
Grading, hasanIbn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Trade, in the chapter "If two guardians sell, it goes to the first," hadith 2190, from the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Aruba, with this same wording. Hakim graded it sahih according to the standard of Bukhari, 35/2, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations, see Nail al-Maqsood, hadith 2088.
