The Prophet ﷺ held the wedding feast for Safiya bint Huyayy with parched barley and dates.
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن وائل بن داود عن ابنه عن الزهري
أن النبي ﷺ أولم على صفية بنت حيي بسويق وتمر
Sourcing, hasan. Ibn Majah reported it, no. 1909, from Muhammad bin Abu Umar through the same route, and the hadith has corroborating narrations in Bukhari, no. 371, and Muslim, no. 1365 (Nikah, chapter on the merit of freeing one's slave woman and then marrying her), and others besides them.
