When someone got married, the Prophet ﷺ would offer him these words of congratulation, "May Allah bless you, may His blessings be upon you, and may He unite you both in goodness."
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter on What Is Said to Someone Who Gets Married, hadith 2130, from Qutayba with the same wording. Ibn Hibban declared it sahih (al-Ihsan, 4041), as did Hakim (2/183) and Dhahabi. There is also a report on this matter from Aqeel bin Abu Talib [Ibn Majah, hadith 1906].
