The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the takbir over a funeral, raising his hands at the first takbir and placing his right hand over his left.

[Its isnad is daif] Bayhaqi (4/38) narrated it from the hadith of Ismail Warraq, with the same wording, and Hasan bin Hammad Sajjadah followed him in narrating it. Yazid bin Sinan is daif, and Yahya bin Yaala is a Shia and daif (Taqrib).
