The Prophet ﷺ forbade plastering graves with gypsum, writing on them, building over them, or stepping on them.

نهى النبي ﷺ أن تجصص القبور وأن يكتب عليها وأن يبنى عليها وأن توطأ
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Funerals, chapter on the prohibition of plastering graves and building on them, hadith no. 970, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj through this same route.
