A red velvet cloth was placed in the grave of the Prophet ﷺ.Muhammad bin Bashshar said in another place, "Muhammad bin Jafar and Yahya narrated to us, from Shuba, from Abu Jamra, from Ibn Abbas," and this is more correct.
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة عن أبي حمزة
جعل في قبر النبي ﷺ قطيفة حمراء قال و قال محمد بن بشار في موضع آخر حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ويحيى عن شعبة عن أبي جمرة عن ابن عباس وهذا أصح
