The Prophet ﷺ forbade a man to pray with his hands on his hips.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا جرير عن هشام ح و أخبرنا سويد بن نصر قال أنبأنا عبد الله بن المبارك واللفظ له عن هشام عن ابن سيرين
أن النبي ﷺ نهى أن يصلي الرجل مختصرا
Muslim narrated it in "the Book of Mosques," in the chapter "The Dislike of Standing With Hand on Hip During Prayer," Hadith 545, from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak. Bukhari narrated it in "the Book of Actions During Prayer," in the chapter "Standing With Hand on Hip During Prayer," Hadith 1220, from the hadith of Hisham bin Hassan, with the same wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, Hadith 964.
