I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Your Lord marvels at a shepherd of sheep on the peak of a mountain crag who calls the adhan and prays. Allah says, 'Look at this servant of Mine. He calls the adhan and establishes the prayer out of fear of Me. I have forgiven My servant and admitted him into Paradise.'"
[Its isnad is sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on the adhan while traveling, no. 1203, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb, with the same chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, no. 1630, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 260.
