The Prophet ﷺ had him sit down and taught him the call to prayer phrase by phrase. Ibrahim said, "It is just like our call to prayer."I said to him, "Repeat it for me."He said, "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah" two times. "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" two times.Then he said in a voice lower than the first, audible to those around him, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah" two times. "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" two times. "Come to prayer" two times. "Come to success" two times. "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. There is no god but Allah."
أخبرنا بشر بن معاذ قال حدثني إبراهيم وهو ابن عبد العزيز بن عبد الملك بن أبي محذورة قال حدثني أبي عبد العزيز وجدي عبد الملك
أن النبي ﷺ أقعده فألقى عليه الأذان حرفا حرفا قال إبراهيم هو مثل أذاننا هذا قلت له أعد علي قال الله أكبر الله أكبر أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله مرتين أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله مرتين ثم قال بصوت دون ذلك الصوت يسمع من حوله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله مرتين أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله مرتين حي على الصلاة مرتين حي على الفلاح مرتين الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Prayer, chapter on the repetition of phrases in the adhan, hadith 191, from Bishr bin Muaz, in abridged form, and said, "hasan sahih." Ibn Khuzayma also graded it sahih, hadith 378. The word "twice" was omitted at the beginning of the hadith after the phrase "Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest," and the correct version includes it.
