The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the edge of the sun begins to rise, delay the prayer until it has fully risen, and when the edge of the sun begins to set, delay the prayer until it has fully set."
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد قال حدثنا هشام بن عروة قال أخبرني أبي قال أخبرني
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا طلع حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تشرق وإذا غاب حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تغرب
Bukhari transmitted it, Times of Prayer, chapter on prayer after Fajr until the sun rises, hadith 583, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, and Muslim, Prayer of the Traveler, chapter on the times when prayer is forbidden, 829, from the hadith of Hisham with the same wording, and it is in Al-Kubra, hadith 1550.
