He said, I read the letter of Umar bin Khattab to Abu Musa, which stated, "To proceed, a caravan came to me from Sham carrying a thick black drink resembling tar used for camels. I asked them to what extent they cook it down, and they informed me that they cook it down to two-thirds, with two-thirds evaporating away, the two foul portions, one-third for its harmful effect and one-third for its odor. So instruct those under your authority that they may drink it."

أنه قال قرأت كتاب عمر بن الخطاب إلى أبي موسى أما بعد فإنها قدمت علي عير من الشام تحمل شرابا غليظا أسود كطلاء الإبل وإني سألتهم على كم يطبخونه فأخبروني أنهم يطبخونه على الثلثين ذهب ثلثاه الأخبثان ثلث ببغيه وثلث بريحه فمر من قبلك يشربونه

Its isnad is daif. It is in Sunan al-Kubra (5226). Amir bin Abdullah is unknown, and he saw the letter of Umar. There is also another flaw in it.
