I asked Ibn Abbas, while he was resting his back against the Kaabah, about badhaq. He replied, "Muhammad came before badhaq, and whatever intoxicates is forbidden."He said, I was the first Arab to ask him about it.

سألت ابن عباس وهو مسند ظهره إلى الكعبة عن الباذق فقال سبق محمد الباذق وما أسكر فهو حرام قال أنا أول العرب سأله
