The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade making nabidh in gourds and pitch-coated vessels.
أخبرنا محمد بن منصور قال حدثنا سفيان قال حدثنا الزهري قال أخبرني أبو سلمة أنه سمع
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والمزفت أن ينبذ فيهما
Muslim reported it, hadith no. 1993, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with the same chain (see the previous hadith), and it is in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 140.
