Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the prohibition of soaking dates in tarred vessels and dried gourds, etc., hadith no. 36/1995, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the Prophet's ﷺ permission regarding vessels and containers after the prohibition, hadith no. 5595, from the hadith of Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed, from Mansur, from Ibrahim Nakhai, from the hadith of Mansur through this same chain. It is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 5136.
