The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade combining dates and raisins, and he forbade combining ripe dates and unripe dates when soaking them to make nabidh.
أخبرنا قريش بن عبد الرحمن الباوردي عن علي بن الحسن قال أنبأنا الحسين بن واقد قال حدثني عمرو بن دينار قال سمعت
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن التمر والزبيب ونهى عن التمر والبسر أن ينبذا جميعا
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] It is found in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith: 5069, and it has corroborating narrations, see hadith: 5564. Ali bin Hasan is Ibn Shaqiq.
