I will only teach you what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us. He would say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, decrepit old age, and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the best to purify it. You are its Guardian and Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not feel awe, from a soul that is never satisfied, from knowledge that brings no benefit, and from a supplication that goes unanswered."
