The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was made of silver, the tip of its scabbard was silver, and between them were rings of silver.

[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, jihad, chapter on decorating the sword, h: 2583, from the hadith of Jareer bin Hazim, with the same wording. It is also in al-Kubra, h: 9813. Tirmidhi said, h: 1691, hasan gharib, and the preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
