The Prophet ﷺ said, "Those who make these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them, 'Bring to life what you have created.'"
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا حماد عن أيوب عن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ قال إن أصحاب هذه الصور الذين يصنعونها يعذبون يوم القيامة يقال لهم أحيوا ما خلقتم
Bukhari narrated it in "Tawhid," chapter "The saying of Allah Almighty, "Allah has created you and what you do" [Saffat 37:96]... etc.," hadith 7558, and Muslim in "Libas," chapter "The prohibition of depicting the image of an animal, etc.," hadith 97/2108, from the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd, with this wording.
