The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fashions an image will be punished until he breathes life into it, and he will never be able to do so."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا حماد عن أيوب عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من صور صورة عذب حتى ينفخ فيها الروح وليس بنافخ فيها
[Sahih] Reported by Bukhari, in the Book of the Interpretation of Dreams, chapter titled "One who lies about his dream," Hadith no. 7042, from the report of Ayub Sakhtiyani, through the same chain.
