The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "How far may a woman let her garment trail?"He replied, "A handspan."She said, "Then her foot would still show."He said, "A cubit, no more than that."
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا النضر قال حدثنا المعتمر وهو ابن سليمان قال حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع عن سليمان بن يسار
سئل رسول الله ﷺ كم تجر المرأة من ذيلها قال شبرا قالت إذا ينكشف عنها قال ذراع لا تزيد عليها
