It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of the Prophet's ﷺ ring on his left finger.
أخبرنا الحسين بن عيسى البسطامي قال حدثنا سلم بن قتيبة عن شعبة عن قتادة
كأني أنظر إلى بياض خاتم النبي ﷺ في إصبعه اليسرى
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Knowledge, in the chapter on what is mentioned regarding handing over [manuscripts] and the writing of scholars to [various] lands, hadith no. 65, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Clothing, in the chapter on the Prophet's, Allah bless him and grant him peace, taking up a signet ring when he wanted to write to the non-Arabs, hadith no. 2092/56, both from the hadith of Shubah, through this chain.
