The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was a man of medium height, broad between the shoulders, with a thick beard. A reddish hue tinted his complexion, and his hair fell down to his earlobes. I saw him once wearing a red garment, and I have never seen anyone more beautiful than him.
أخبرنا علي بن الحسين عن أمية بن خالد عن شعبة عن أبي إسحق
كان رسول الله ﷺ رجلا مربوعا عريض ما بين المنكبين كث اللحية تعلوه حمرة جمته إلى شحمتي أذنيه لقد رأيته في حلة حمراء ما رأيت أحسن منه
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Virtues, Chapter on the Description of the Prophet ﷺ, hadith no. 3551, and Muslim transmitted it in the Book of Virtues, Chapter on the Description of the Prophet of Allah and That He Was the Most Handsome of People in Appearance, hadith no. 2337, from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
