The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the family of Jafar three days before coming to them. Then he came to them and said, "Do not weep for my brother after this day."Then he said, "Bring me my brother's sons."We were brought to him as though we were young chicks. He said, "Bring me a barber," and he ordered that our heads be shaved. Abridged.
أخبرنا إسحق بن منصور قال أنبأنا وهب بن جرير قال حدثنا أبي قال سمعت محمد بن أبي يعقوب عن الحسن بن سعد يحدث
أمهل رسول الله ﷺ آل جعفر ثلاثة أن يأتيهم ثم أتاهم فقال لا تبكوا على أخي بعد اليوم ثم قال ادعوا إلي بني أخي فجيء بنا كأنا أفرخ فقال ادعوا إلي الحلاق فأمر بحلق رءوسنا مختصر
