He came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a shabby garment, and the Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you have any wealth?"He replied, "Yes, every kind of wealth."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What kind of wealth?"He answered, "Allah has given me camels, sheep, horses, and slaves."The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Allah gives you wealth, the trace of Allah's favor and bounty should be visible upon you."

أنه أتى النبي ﷺ في ثوب دون فقال له النبي ﷺ ألك مال قال نعم من كل المال قال من أي المال قال قد آتاني الله من الإبل والغنم والخيل والرقيق قال فإذا آتاك الله مالا فلير عليك أثر نعمة الله وكرامته
