Ali reported that the Prophet ﷺ forbade me from wearing gold rings, from garments made of qassi silk, from red saddle-cushions, and from drinking jiah.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحق عن هبيرة بن يريم قال
ي نهاني النبي ﷺ عن خاتم الذهب وعن القسي وعن المياثر الحمر وعن الجعة
Hasan. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Manners, in the chapter on what has been said regarding the dislike of men wearing saffron-dyed clothing, and it is also found in his Kubra, hadith no. 9467. Abu Ishaq stated explicitly that he heard it directly.
