Around him were a group of people from the Muhajirun and the Ansar. He asked them, "Do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the wearing of silk?"They replied, "By Allah, yes."He continued, "And he forbade the wearing of gold except in small pieces?"They said, "Yes."Ali bin Ghurab differed from him, narrating it from Bayhas, from Abu Shaykh, from Ibn Umar.
