The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw her wearing two gold bracelets, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you of something better than these? If you took these off and made two bracelets of silver instead, then tinted them yellow with saffron, they would be lovely."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, this report is not well-preserved, and Allah knows best.
أخبرني الربيع بن سليمان قال حدثنا إسحق بن بكر قال حدثني أبي عن عمرو بن الحارث عن ابن شهاب عن عروة
أن رسول الله ﷺ رأى عليها مسكتي ذهب فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبرك بما هو أحسن من هذا لو نزعت هذا وجعلت مسكتين من ورق ثم صفرتهما بزعفران كانتا حسنتين قال أبو عبد الرحمن هذا غير محفوظ والله أعلم

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar 3/382, 383, hadith 3007, from the hadith of Zuhri with slight variation in wording but similar meaning, and I did not find an explicit statement of Zuhri's hearing it. The hadith is also in the Kubra, hadith 9444, Rabi bin Sulayman, Dawud, Ishaq bin Bakr bin Mudar.
