The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differ from them."
أخبرنا علي بن خشرم قال حدثنا عيسى وهو ابن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن الزهري عن سليمان وأبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن اليهود والنصارى لا تصبغ فخالفوهم
Reported by Bukhari, Clothing, chapter on dyeing (using henna, etc.), no. 5899, and Muslim, Clothing, chapter on differing from the Jews in dyeing, no. 2103, from the hadith of Zuhri, through him, and it is also found in Al-Kubra, no. 9343.
