The Messenger of Allah ﷺ...Yunus bin Abdul-Ala informed us, saying, Ibn Wahb reported to us, saying, Yunus informed me from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, who reported from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differ from them."

Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of the Prophets, chapter on what was mentioned about Banu Israil, no. 3462, from the hadith of Ibrahim bin Saad, with the same chain. It is also in Al-Kubra, nos. 9338 and 9339, from his uncle Yaqub bin Ibrahim bin Saad.
