The hair of the Prophet ﷺ was wavy, neither tightly curled nor completely straight, falling between his ears and his shoulders.
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى قال حدثنا وهب بن جرير قال حدثنا أبي قال سمعت قتادة يحدث
كان شعر النبي ﷺ شعرا رجلا ليس بالجعد ولا بالسبط بين أذنيه وعاتقه
Bukhari transmitted it in "The Book of Clothing," "Chapter on Curly Hair," no. 5906, 5905, from the hadith of Wahb bin Jareer. Muslim also transmitted it in "The Book of Virtues," "Chapter on the Description of the Prophet's Hair" ﷺ, no. 2338, from the hadith of Jareer bin Hazim, with the same wording. It is also found in Kubra, no. 9308.
