The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and in Humayd bin Masada's version of the hadith, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا النضر قال حدثنا شعبة ح وأنبأنا حميد بن مسعدة قال حدثنا بشر قال حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ وقال حميد بن مسعدة في حديثه إن نبي الله ﷺ قال لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Faith, in the chapter "Part of faith is that one should love for his brother what he loves for himself," hadith no. 13, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith, in the chapter "The proof that among the qualities of faith is that one should love for his Muslim brother the good that he loves for himself," hadith no. 45, from the hadith of Shubah, with the same chain.
