Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked which deeds are best. He replied, "Faith in Allah and His Messenger."

Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Faith, chapter "Whoever said that faith is action... etc.," hadith no. 26, and Muslim in the Book of Faith, chapter "Explaining that faith in Allah Most High is the best of deeds," hadith no. 83, from the hadith of Ibrahim bin Saad, through the same chain.
