She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The hand of a thief is not to be cut off except for a quarter of a dinar or more."Ahmad bin Amr bin al-Sarh informed us, saying, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying, Abdul-Rahman bin Salman informed me, from Ibn Hadi, from Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Hazm, from Amra, from Ayesha, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the same as the first report.
أخبرنا أبو صالح محمد بن زنبور قال حدثنا ابن أبي حازم عن يزيد بن عبد الله عن أبي بكر بن محمد عن عمرة
أنها سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لا يقطع السارق إلا في ربع دينار فصاعدا أخبرنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح قال حدثنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن سلمان عن ابن الهاد عن أبي بكر بن محمد بن حزم عن عمرة عن عائشة عن رسول الله ﷺ مثل الأول
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on the punishment for theft and its minimum threshold, hadith 4/1684, from the hadith of Yazid bin Abdullah bin Had, with this wording. It is also in Kubra, hadith 7415. Ibn Abu Hazim is Abdul-Aziz.
