When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Mecca, he said in his sermon, "For each finger, ten camels."
أخبرنا إسمعيل بن مسعود قال حدثنا خالد بن الحارث قال حدثنا حسين المعلم عن عمرو بن شعيب أن أباه حدثه
لما افتتح رسول الله ﷺ مكة قال في خطبته وفي الأصابع عشر عشر
[Its isnad is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, in the chapter on the blood money for limbs, hadith no. 4562, from the hadith of Husayn al-Muallim, with this same wording. It is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 7055, and Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, hadith no. 781.
