The Prophet ﷺ said, "This and this are equal," meaning the little finger and the thumb.
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد قال حدثنا شعبة قال حدثني قتادة عن عكرمة
عن النبي ﷺ قال هذه وهذه سواء يعني الخنصر والإبهام
Bukhari transmitted it in the chapter on Diyat, the section on the compensation for fingers, hadith no. 6895, from the hadith of Shubah, through the same chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 7052.
