The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that for a one-eyed person whose blind eye remains in its place, when it is gouged out, one third of its blood-money is due. For a paralyzed hand, when it is cut off, one third of its blood-money is due. And for a blackened tooth, when it is pulled out, one third of its blood-money is due.
أخبرنا أحمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد قال أنبأنا ابن عائذ قال حدثنا الهيثم بن حميد قال أخبرني العلاء وهو ابن الحارث
أن رسول الله ﷺ قضى في العين العوراء السادة لمكانها إذا طمست بثلث ديتها وفي اليد الشلاء إذا قطعت بثلث ديتها وفي السن السوداء إذا نزعت بثلث ديتها
Its chain of transmission is hasan. Abu Dawud reported it in the chapter on Diyat, section on blood money for limbs and organs, hadith no. 4567, from the hadith of Haytham bin Humayd, with the same wording, and it is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 7044.Ibn Aidh's name is Muhammad.
