We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was speaking to the people. Some men stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, these are the sons of so-and-so who killed so-and-so."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No soul bears the crime of another."
أخبرنا هناد بن السري في حديثه عن أبي الأحوص عن أشعث عن أبيه
أتينا رسول الله ﷺ وهو يكلم الناس فقام إليه ناس فقالوا يا رسول الله هؤلاء بنو فلان الذين قتلوا فلانا فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تجني نفس على أخرى
