Grading, its isnad is daif.Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Medicine, chapter "Whoever Practices Medicine Without Knowledge of It," hadith 3466, from the hadith of Walid bin Muslim through the same route, and it is also in Kubra, hadith 7034. Hakim graded it sahih (4/212), and Dhahabi agreed with him. Ibn Jurayj narrated with "an" (indicating a possible break in transmission), as noted previously at hadith 4008. The hadith has a corroborating witness that is daif.
