I saw Saeed bin Jubayr at Muzdalifah call the iqamah and pray Maghrib in three rakahs, then call the iqamah again and pray Isha in two rakahs. He then mentioned that Ibn Umar had done the same with them in that very place, and he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had done the same in that place.

رأيت سعيد بن جبير بجمع أقام فصلى المغرب ثلاث ركعات ثم أقام فصلى يعني العشاء ركعتين ثم ذكر أن ابن عمر صنع بهم مثل ذلك في ذلك المكان وذكر أن رسول الله ﷺ صنع مثل ذلك في ذلك المكان
